Jane Luk is an actor, instructor, director, writer, comedian, improvisor and producer.
Jane completed the tour of Kim’s Convenience (Soulpepper Theatre) across major theatres of western Canada as well as collaborated in devising Folktales of Mongolia and Laos as part of recognizing Asian Heritage Month at Soulpepper. For fu-GEN Theatre she appeared in Ching Chong Chinaman and in Tout Comme Elle for Necessary Angel.
Audiences will remember Jane as Cam Belter on Showcase’s Billable Hours as well as appearing in Blood and Water, Murdoch Mysteries, Saw lll, and The Gilda Radner Story.
She played for Montreal in the Just For Laughs Improv Championships as well as teaching and improvising on the stages of the Social Capital Theatre, Bad Dog Theatre, Theatresports Toronto and Second City.
She is a founding member of The Wrecking Crew (Improv Troupe) and produced Comedy on the Danforth and Kittens of Comedy for many years. Jane is a four-time nominee for the Canadian Comedy Awards for Funniest Female Improvisor and recipient of a Dora and Chalmers Award for Best Youth Script.
